We understand that in this current climate we cannot run our regular cookery courses. However, you can still enjoy cookery classes though our on-line portal where you will be able to cook along with our chef, ask any questions and have a full interactive experience. Nasima will guide you through each steps to creating this favourite popular dish.
PAKORA AND CHILLI CHUTNEY
- Recipe for 4 people
- TIME: 45 - 60 MINS
Although you will require the following ingredients, we understand that all the ingredients will not be available. Therefore, we have advised of substitutes.
INGREDIENTS FOR PAKORA
- 1x large or 2 medium sized onions (red onions best)
- 1 medium sized potatoes
- 1 cup gram flour (substitute - plain flour, rice flour or cornmeal)
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/4 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tbsp fresh chopped coriander (substitute: fresh spinache, mint leaves, basil, other green leaves)
- 2 fresh green chillies
- a pinch of panch puran (all or any of the 5 spice mix - Cumin, Brown Mustard, Fenugreek, Nigella and Fennel)
- 1 egg
INGREDIENTS FOR CHUTNEY
1/4 onion
1 clove garlic
1/2 salad tomatoes or 2 cherry tomatoes
1 green chili
1 tsp chopped coriander
1tbs tomato ketchup
2 tsp peri peri chilli sauce
salt to taste
1/2 tsp sugar
