This workshop is designed for those who have already dipped their toes into the art of fruit carving and are now eager to take their skills to the next level. Over the next three hours, you will delve into the intricate techniques that turn cantaloupes and watermelons into canvases for your imagination. Led by our expert fruit carving instructor, Nasima, who brings years of experience and passion to the table, you will explore the realms of carving, garnishing, and presentation. From delicate floral patterns to mesmerizing rose designs, you will learn to wield your carving tools with finesse and bring forth breathtaking creations that are sure to leave a lasting impression.

Agenda:
- Introduction (15 minutes): Welcome participants and provide a brief overview of the workshop. Introduce yourself and your expertise in fruit carving. Discuss the importance of presentation in culinary art.
- Basics of Fruit Carving (30 minutes): Introduce different types of carving tools and their uses. Demonstrate basic carving techniques on cantaloupe and watermelon. Emphasize safety measures when handling carving tools.
- Cantaloupe Carving (45 minutes): Guide participants through step-by-step instructions to create intricate designs on cantaloupe. Teach techniques for carving floral and abstract patterns. Provide individual guidance as participants practice carving on their own cantaloupes.
- Watermelon Carving: Rose Design (60 minutes): Demonstrate the process of creating a detailed rose design on a watermelon. Break down the carving steps and guide participants as they follow along. Share tips for achieving depth and texture in the rose petals.
- Text Writing on Fruits (30 minutes): Teach participants how to write personalized messages or names on fruits using carving techniques. Provide examples of creative text placements and fonts.
- Garnishing Techniques (30 minutes): Show participants how to use edible garnishes to enhance the presentation of their carvings. Discuss various garnishing tools and methods for adding flair to the carved fruits.
- Presentation and Platter Arrangement (30 minutes): Discuss the art of arranging carved fruits on a platter. Guide participants on creating visually appealing arrangements with a variety of fruits. Emphasize balance, colour coordination, and aesthetics.
